A town in the foothills of the Eagle Mountains on the river Tichá Orlice. On the square, which is dominated by the Baroque Marian Plague Column, a Baroque castle with its own exhibition and Baroque church. I tis possible to get acquainted with the history of the city in the city Museum, which also exhibits the original sleigh of Caesar Napoleon, on which in 1812 he fled from Russia. The Jára Cimrman Museum and Room is newly opened. From the hill the pentagonal Baroque chapel of St. Jan Nepomucký with cloisters, near the castle is a natural landscape park with an Empire fountain, gazebo and an artificial cave with a view. In winter it is possible to use the ski lift in Letohrad.
