PolskiAround the hotel grounds and fortress is great for active recreation. Our guests have several variants of physical and sports activities. The region of the Orlické hory and Podorlicko is known for its cycle paths and quality conditions for hiking. The main routes of the Podorlicko area are more extensive for cyclists than the Orlické hory themselves with their ridges. Near the hotel within the town of Letohrad are tennis courts with an artificial surface (artificial grass) and the possibility of table tennis. Letohrad also offers swimming in the local newly renovated swimming pool (there is a large swimming pool, children's pool and other sports activities within the complex).
Sport
Hotel and Tvrz Orlice also offers its services to athletes or families who like more active relaxation. About 10 km from the hotel there is a famous sports complex with six outdoor courts and a fixed hall with two clay courts. Our reception will book a court or hall for a specific hour. In the town of Žamberk you can also take a bath after an exhausting tennis match, or enjoy moments with children in the local Aquapark, which has water slides, a whirlpool, a paddling pool with a fountain. Its capacity is 1000 people and it is equipped above standard. There is also a beach volleyball and streetball court. There is also a bowling alley, a fitness center and a mini golf course.
Bike paths
An undemanding route suitable for cycling and skating is a 16 km long cycle path from Letohrad, ie directly from the hotel, via Valdštejn and Libchavy to Ústí nad Orlicí. Then you can continue on the trail from Ústí nad Orlicí to Choceň, which represents a length of another 20 km. For more demanding cyclists, we recommend trails in hilly terrain to the ridges of the Orlické hory, in the direction of Ski Park Deštné or Ski Park Bukova hora. Bikes and equipment can be booked at the hotel reception.
