The Museum of Crafts is located in the protected area of Nový Dvůr from 1750 in Letohrad. With an area exceeding 2000 m2, it is the largest museum of its kind in the Czech Republic. It includes more than 50 comprehensive exhibitions of crafts and trades from the period 1840 – 1930. In addition to relatively well-know professions, such as carpenter or woodcarver, it also presents the work of a metal stamp, wheelwright, cooper, shingler and many others. The most interesting exhibits include a carved mechanical open-air museum of crafts, mechanical workshops, a sawmill with three functional cutters and a 100 year old school class and a new dental and gynecological surgery and a new Retro exposition.
